You’re definitely missing out. It still sounds like it could come out today and feel just as fresh as it did in 2015
Also Rihanna covered one of the songs on her ANTI album, and a lot of people still see that as one of her best songs ever

Is it socially acceptable to love this album again? S*** caught way too much flack over time for being the “indie starter pack” type album
Just because something is highly acclaimed doesn’t make it lose its aura
Virgil put eventually in his guest mix on OVOsound I think the same episode one dance and pop style premiered
Been a fan ever since

I think I heard the Rihanna joint. That was good
But I didn’t listen, not because I’m a hater, it just passed me by. Think beach house sufjan future thug Gucci chief keef and drake kinda had me stuck
I just wanted to take a moment to show off my collectors edition that released a few years back

album got a bad rap because it became normie indie stuff but theres still so much godly s*** on this. insanely dirty but warm mixing, great playing, super catchy melodies.
i hadn't played disciples in years. when that song clicks from lofi into the full mix i had a moment like this

phenomenal album
I remeber listening to innerspeaker in 2010
I was first
Was also first to yeat
Now i jus need southside sillouhette or rexv2 to blow for the hattrick

Kevin is a god with the a***og gear. Wish i had the space or money for all that s***
Great album
Also when tame impala fell off stylistically, lonerism was peak
i definitely miss some of the psych rock style of innerspeaker/lonerism in his later music

Agreed. When it comes to the indie/pop fusion id take neon indian or maybe even toro y moi over tame impala
KTT put me onto this album 10 years ago. My first time hearing Tame Impala and I was instantly hooked
Became the soundtrack to that winter. Kevin Parker an actual genius
2 people have told me I was the first one to put them onto Tame Impala because I recommended this album. Thank you KTT
