    😕

  • Jun 18, 2024

Charlize Theron as Pamela would've been dope. not sure what A24 thinks theyre gonna do correctly this 2nd time except make a cheaper, more lowkey show than what they originally planned.

Reading it I can see why this version of the show was scrapped now. I think it was way too ambitious, sprawling, and expensive a show that got too big for A24 who usually does low budget stuff to handle.

And the 2009 remake already did the remake the first 4 movies trick that this was gonna do minus Pamela and the deconstruction angle.

It sucks because I like Fuller work. Hannibal was dope. It just wasn't meant to be.

  • Jun 18, 2024

I hope this new vision A24 is gonna cook will be good and actually happen .

The 2009 remake was 15 years ago. And I'm starved to Jason come back.

I wonder which of the producers' kids they've would've got to play lil tommy jarvis

And Elm Street is just non existent atm

Chucky really the only one going strong

  • Jun 18, 2024

It’s a shame we can’t seem to get anymore F13th movies or even this show. I’ve rewatched the movies countless times, I miss my boy Jason.

Can a director of note please just make a new slasher? These movies are dirt cheap and easy to greenlight.

Which isn't to say people will like it. But I will! I don't mean an indie like Terrifier. Nothing artsy like In a Violent Nature. Just a dumb mean teen s***comedy slasher of yesterday. F*** universes and lore. This franchise hardly had continuity to begin with

They make those all the time. Happy Death Day, that new time travel one. Those are something else. They're cuter

I spose. slasher movies are my favorite horror subgenre for sure. would be nice if s*** was made catered to what I like. but I dont really care, there's always one more slaptastic 70s/80s/90s slasher ive never seen, just gonna keep digging up the gems and giving them shine.

The only new slasher franchise we got in the last 20+ years was Victor Crowley

I was being unkind to Wolf Creek and Cold Prey. Two pretty good non-US slasher franchises
