FilmStruck is long gone mayne
Criterion Channel is literally built on top of FilmStruck's foundation. They took it over, it's just a UI redesign. Which is why you can go to the Criterion Channel subreddit (or even the general Criterion one) and still find crowds of people asking for help with/complaining about the same issues FilmStruck users had — particularly with the desktop browser client/player lagging and being generally underdeveloped compared to the streaming apps.
Rule #1 for Criterion Channel is the same as it was for FilmStruck: Do not use the browser client/player. Get a streaming device of some kind.
FS/CC's browser player will cause you to experience at least 5x the bugs, lag, and/or inconvenience compared to the virtually seamless experience on the streaming app clients
yea, its terrible on the google chrome. One day it works perfectly fine and then the next day its impossible to use. So frustrating.
works better on firefox
Got my girl that Showa era Godzilla collection. I’ve not seen most of them so I’m psyched.

Hell ya Bergman is the best. I'm due for a re-watch of Persona.
I saw Rumble Fish for the first time last night on Criterion blu and it was great.
As for the ones leaving the channel, I just watched The Lavender Hill Mob and it was pretty solid although I think it fell apart a bit in the end.

Silent light and Klute
I'm about to check out Stalag 17.
I bought Klute during this 50% off sale so I'll watch it at some point later. If available, I'd rather see the blu ray versions but there are more than enough on the channel that aren't in the collection.
