Heaven To A Tortured Mind (and even the subsequent album) still very much sound like uniquely and distinctively Yves Tumor albums/from the same artist who made Safe In The Hands Of Love, albeit more accessible. really disagree with the notion that they did a 180 switch up to make "boring glam rock" that can be played anywhere, or that the new s*** is being heavily carried by the aesthetic. i think the following tracks from 2020-onward are all essential Yves songs worth more than you're giving them credit for

Funny thing is Luka Sabbat played before Yves and didn't get this backlash. Obviously Yves should not be opening for Swedish House Mafia, but like I said before Yves has a tendency to get too comfortable with white people and lacks awareness of his surroundings. Idk if it's his hipster white friends that treat him as a god that deflated his ego and distorted his perception on reality. But he definitely found out in this set what the world is really like. Maybe he decided to troll this set like you said or he just lacked the self awareness and his ego was too big considering the environment he was in.
