This is crazy crazy crazy good, I didn't even like Peggy before, but the production is insane here, Danny's got his mojo back too, his last album felt pretty lethargic but he's fantastic on this
lethargic? you need to relisten to Uknowhatimsayin’ cuz that’s just not accurate at all
it got less critical acclaim which may have made you check for it less
Given the Vol. 1 in the title, wonder if this is gonna be a Run The Jewels type deal with them.
I wish I enjoyed it more man, I loved the opening track, but I was worried about how this one would be since I HATED 3 Tears, but this album's just crazy inventive and engaging the whole way through
I didn't really care much for 3 Tearz either, but I think the issue with that one was that Peggy was trying to fit into a traditional hip hop head Danny album rather than create his own sonic space to inhabit like he did on this album and it came out sounding kind of mid.
Meanwhile, you have beats like Belly of the Beast that are absolutely insane because Paul White already had an established chemistry with Danny and really let it fly.
I didnt deserve this
It was too easy of a lay up man ya gotta understand
bro called a Danny Brown album lethargic lol that’s wild to me
it isnt as interesting as his other projects save Old, but its a decent album
They just released it

I eat so many shrimp I got iodine poison
Hoes on my d*** 'cause I look like Roy Orbison
Got a foursome with four fours and I called it a twelve
One was chubby, one was ugly...wack as hell
Every Q-Tip song on that album was a masterpiece
I don't trust people who don't like Best Life
First time ever listening to this JPEGMAFIA fellow, or anything of this genre. Pretty fun listen and enjoyable. Good job!

I love it tbh, different sound to what he's done prior, the Q produced tracks are amazing.

I just skimmed through again to check I wasn't misremembering but for the most part he's using a reserved, low-energy flow that to me sounds almost like he's reading off cue cards, I don't find the production too interesting, even the Paul White stuff is pretty uninteresting for the most part, the key strength of the album is the lyrics though, it has some of his funniest bars ever and some great storytelling, I just wish it was delivered with more energy overall, I genuinely wish I enjoyed it more but it just lacks something that his other albums have for me
F*** does this even mean
music sounds better on amphetamines, more so than it does on thc for me
This s*** sounds otherworldly on bandcamp.
Like, GODDAMN. Is there any chance of this version being moved over to Apple Music/Spotify because it’s a world of difference.
S*** is like 720p compared to 4K.
Jpegs last album LP sounded way louder on Bandcamp too. At least compared to my Spotify
I hope the physicals have the Bandcamp mix, it's so much clearer even if it is crazy loud

Best Life & Dirty Laundry are top Danny s***

The needle would explode if they tried to print some of these mixes to vinyl
you keep posting this but the flows on these songs are drastically different, Peggy really isnt as one dimensional of a rapper as some of yall are saying
!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oDRnSGgkoUc!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hA_-ZohTJGo!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qy5zPJ_LRJMI consider those first two to be in the same pocket even though the vibes are a bit different, pretty sure he’s still emphasizing the same beats and similar delivery
The last one is one example of him not doing that same chanty rap style that he’s been doing but it’s few and far between
