Never felt like that before or after and probably never will

Next day my uni announced they are closing down in-person classes, s*** was wild

S*** was crazy mic touching moment was iconic

Just seeing stores flood with people fighting for s*** with shelves empty is absolute end times. Pure panic

One of the wildest weeks of my life, I’ll never forgot reading the first couple of pages of this thread and getting off work early going to my homies crib high af and seeing them legit shut down the nba in real time, legit thought I was dreaming or some s***

I'll never forget being in Costco for two hours and spending $300 on random s*** because society was shutting down

The toilet paper craze was at an all time high

I bought paper towels at a liquor/convenience store because it was the only place people hadn’t raided yet

i remember reading about someome getting stabbed in a costco over a case of water

It's only going to get worse as restrictions get lifted. If only the human race was smart enough to obey orders 3 years ago, we would've been way past all of this but alas, majority of society is selfish and ignorant.

Individualized nations didn’t help whatsoever (US) but horrible government regulations were even worse

China basically kept the 0 COVID case facade as somewhat of a reality for a while, Australia was a safe haven for a while, and there’s some other countries that did well. Those countries faced some pretty harsh blowback from their populaces eventually, but that would’ve been a bump in the road in history if every major country could’ve done something similar at the start

I don’t know if there was a realistic solution for pighead USA. Mass lockdowns ala Australia or China would’ve probably led to civil war, but doing virtually nothing after a month didn’t help either. And depending on the good graces and empathy of this country’s people was beyond stupid
