At the beginning of the pandemic it was reassuring because a lot of the studies coming out were essentially “Yeah, COVID’s bad, but we got this, we’ll get past this.”, and now it’s all about the latest variants cropping up everywhere, studies on all the ways COVID can infect us, where it could possibly lay dormant, conditions that it can cause, the somewhat unpredictable nature of it’s mutations etc.

It’s like the more we learn, the less confident we are on how this’ll all pan out.

damn I stopped worrying about it in that sense since the vaccine came out. I would only worry if the death counts started to equal what it was in that first Christmas wave here.

I’m not worried about dying anymore due to the vaccines, long-term effects are my primary concern now.

I still worry about my fam getting it since they haven't yet somehow

Did anyone else get sick a lot after having COVID?

I got covid in February and I’ve been sick with a cold 3 times since. The first cold was really bad too.

Been working retail for a year now and legit shocked that I haven’t gotten it yet (at least, that I know off).

Feels like a matter of time at this point, especially since I’m one of, like, 3 people at my job who continues to wear a mask when the store is open.

I’m just waiting to wake up one morning feeling awful, it’s low-key kind of stressful tbh
