The public transit mask mandate thing is disappointing but not even remotely surprising. Bracing for a surge again now and I’d love to be wrong.

Guess we’ve got to learn to accept this as life now. Honestly severe long-COVID scares me more than just outright dying. Hearing about people barely being able to walk without having to take a breather is nightmare s***.

And the fact that these newest variants greatly open up the chances of reinfections, which could become more and more debilitating as we go along.

Feels like this is never going to actually reach a point where we can feel (justifiably) comfortable, at least, not anytime soon.

With all this s*** going on I find it so hard to be motivated to do much of anything, it just all feels so futile.
