I think part of it is people act like the non vaxed crowd is just dumb, trump supporters. Many just are like "I will wait for an update to vaccine because everything has been shifting so much and now y'all talking about variants" and although it has lowered hospitalizations I have heard of more friends getting covid after getting vaccinated and having symptoms then before a vaccine existed .
