Lol if the vaccine doesn’t work rip because hospitals will undoubtedly get overrun bc people still don’t care, but this is probably a lone case so.

I’m glad to know during the Black Plague people were like go out and live your life!

Achieving herd immunity requires 75-85% of the community immunized (https://www.vox.com/coronavirus-covid19/2020/12/15/22176555/anthony-fauci-covid-19-vaccine-herd-immunity-goal) , so until that number is reached the disease will continue to infect people. Also if I recall we don't know whether or not the disease is spread post vaccination, the trials were ran to test efficacy only, not spread, so we're moving forward assuming the worst until we know for certain. @str8dollaz might be more informed though he's our resident MD.

    Dr @str8dollaz , what's your take on this ?

Already seeing multiple posts about people suffering from fatigue/fever/other known side effects directly after taking the vaccine as if they were unexpected . Some people just have preconceived notions of all this and will jump to conclusions instantly to reaffirm them instead of doing their due diligence. Unsurprisingly like this dude the people I know talking s*** rn are all about natural remedies/detoxing etc

I just want them to get a good sample but I know them sticking a q top up my nose looks and sounds like it hurts lol

    Well I’ll be back!

Got my test and came back NEGATIVE

Man what a f***in sign of relief

Unfortunately that means I gotta go back to work

I was off the last 8 days cus I came into contact with someone who tested positive. Luckily I was paid for the days that I didn’t work. So it was lowkey a chill week lmao. Just binge watched shows all week

So I came out positive for rapid test but negative for oral swab test which apparently is more accurate. Wtf does that mean now?

Frankly, when next flu season rolls around, we're going to be grateful that masks have become more common. They are good for public health, especially during periods when hospitals experience greater strain on their capacities. We can learn a lot from this dark time if we choose to.

Unfortunately, it seems that many are using it as an excuse to become resentful of governing bodies rather than asking what they can do to help.

I’ve been using a mask as a scarf in the morning to cover my face when it’s cold

Aren’t the new strains to be expected and covered under the vaccine? And also they won’t stop working for new vaccines in the future.
