With my wife really struggling with covid after 17 days of symptoms, Jeremih in the ICU and nearly 2,000 Americans a day dying from this s***, I'm starting to hate ignorant, inbred anti-mask, anti-lockdown motherfuckers as much as any kind of person on earth. They're killing people and dragging the economy into the abyss while claiming to be doing the opposite. Give your hospital bed to someone else if you don't think this virus is a big deal.

    I think I have it

I think my family might be getting it

I've done nothing but try to do the right thing all year

    F*** this

  • “Europe is once again the epicentre of the Covid-19 pandemic, with one person dying from the disease every 17 seconds, the World Health Organization has warned.

Hans Kluge, the WHO’s regional director for Europe, delivered the sobering message at a briefing on Thursday.

“Europe accounts for 28 per cent of global cases, and 26 per cent of deaths cumulatively in the region,” he told the briefing.

“Last week, Europe registered over 29,000 new Covid-19 deaths. That is one person dying every 17 seconds.”

In the last week deaths jumped by 18 per cent, he said.

However, there are some promising signs that actions governments have taken to try stem the spread of the virus are working.

The number of weekly coronavirus cases in Europe went down last week for the first time in three months.

New weekly infections decreased by 10 per cent, to 1.8 million. Dr Kluge suggested that the strict lockdowns re-imposed in a number of European countries, including the UK, France and Spain, are having an effect. “

I hope your wife pulls through bro.
Does your wife has any underlying conditions?

What a frustrating year. I also just started a job in the office and I just hope I don’t catch this s***

Western world is so unprepared for this that it’s absurd.

  • I work in a pretty small office building (~25 people) and my boss just told me someone tested positive. I haven't worked near them in a while but now I feel weird not knowing who else might have been exposed

I'm just glad the area I work in is pretty isolated

i feel like i have it. I visited some friends on saturday and throughout this week i've been experiencing some pressure in my head, slight dizziness and nausea, and from what i've seen, that could be some symptoms. Its either that or, according to google, brain cancer

It’s not as bad as it sounds tbh, just close your eyes before they start so you won’t flinch.

I told my wife I didn't want her family to visit right now and that it was a bad idea. Truth is you can't stop grown people from seeing loved ones and that's why this holiday season is going to be so bad. It's like herding 330 million cats.

@GhostDeini718 other than having asthma as a kid she's pretty healthy. It's been 17 days of symptoms for her so I doubt things get much worse. I don't even think she's contagious anymore. Supposedly, replicable virus drops way off between days 5 and 10 and she got exposed 21 days ago.

I'm getting an antibody test done today. If it comes back negative, I'm just locking myself in my apartment until I can get vaccinated lol

This is the line to get tested at Dodger Stadium:

It's really the only affordable option for uninsured individuals. If you have insurance, you can go to your doctor or hit up CVS.
