F*** my boss just called me what do I do

Things aren't any diff this week than they were a week ago?

I'ma be mad af if I gotta go back into work.

I don't want to go to work during this s***.

The only thing that makes this bearable is I don't have to worry about work.

    Are you getting unemployment?

I’m not answering amazon calls or anything come May 1st , they are very strict with attendance and once my points are used up they have to fire me.

Which means, I’ll still have my unemployment

There have been reports of deaths of Covid being underreported. I think there's a political divide in the discussion if reporting is too conservative or loosely with the number of COVID death cases.

I’ll keep it a buck, I try hard to stay away from news as a whole nowadays. Because of the reason you stated. From the outside just looks like a bunch of chimps throwing their own s*** each other.

So I saw that video and thought to see what my ktt brethren would say about it.
But now I know this O’Keefe fella has his own shady history

  • Hey. Just want to say I didn’t post that for any trolling reasons, just wanted to see others’ takes. Didn’t know this O’Keef guy wasn’t shady himself

  • bbbbbbb

James O'Keefe has attempted entrapment before and selectively edited videos

Project Veritas is partially funded by the president

I guarantee you this entire video is out of context

    and now I know.
    can we have s***now?

Yes, but the verification is handled by your employer so if I tell them to kick rocks, unemployment can tell me to kick rocks.

So it's essentially a lose lose situation.

And the worst part is we're not even thru the peak of it and they already want me back

Probably just to do all the heavy lifting smh

Welp that sounds f***ed then. Amazon can literally replace us instantly but I know different employers react differently. I know for certain that my areas HR switched up recently to new people so they incompetent asf rn .

Yeah I guess it’s time for you to go back which does suck cause nothing really changed this past month.

It's widespread information at this point:

    Maryland: https://www.wbaltv.com/article/coronavirus-new-data-maryland-nursing-homes/32317405
    All of Europe: https://www.businessinsider.com/half-europes-covid-19-deaths-in-long-term-care-facilities-2020-4
    Evidence for 6 states: https://www.kff.org/medicaid/issue-brief/state-reporting-of-cases-and-deaths-due-to-covid-19-in-long-term-care-facilities/

Remdesivir should not be being used solely on the critically ill, because its strength lies in limiting cell replication. Unfortunately, the critically ill are the most likely to be available for such studies. You'll see better results when expanded to those hospitalized with milder cases.

Tocilizumab is showing better results with the critically ill because of its role in stopping cytokine storms:

Oh wait are you saying we are under-reporting deaths?

I thought you said we were over-reporting them

At this point almost every country under-reporting their deaths.

For example: The RKI in Germany confirmed today that way more people died of it than expected and they are currently looking at how high the numbers are.

Reporting of deaths is never gonna be perfect, if anything tho seems like we are under reporting - nursing home numbers seems to be way higher than any kind of false attributions

That’s why they report probable data. It’s not inaccurate, but close to accurate.

  • Apr 30, 2020

Some countries (Spain, France... etc) are overreporting death numbers to account for probable causes. It’s a standard statistical procedure to study conditional trends. Later on when the outbreak is over, epidemiologists can figure out the real range of deaths numbers.

Also, the gilead study isn’t accurate. Look up Emory University’s trial. The new treatment plan is shown to be highly effective when patients take it within few days of symptoms manifesting

If this treatment plan works, we are guaranteed a temporary way out of it until a new vaccine or better treatments are discovered

259 new cases and 17 new deaths in Ecuador.

Who wants to kidding us over there?

Recovered numbers from some countries are also very strange, some of them are very messy and not explainable.

Me too and not yet at my company. I'm hoping that since my team is a third of our revenue that we're safe or at least we'll last longer than other departments.
