my friend who sent me this s*** is one of those “woke” conspiracy theory dudes and I wanna tell him this account could be misleading cause not everyone who works in a hospital is doing hands on work w covid patients (front desk/office ppl etc) + breaks + it takes like no less than 5 min to make one of these tik tok videos + it’s always gonna be a handful of ppl at any job who goof around a bit or have opinions/ideals that you won’t agree w + not illegal for hospital employees to have some fun/rest/break from this covid s***

but tbh it’s not worth getting into an argument over cause I know he just gonna send me more crazy ppl links and try to convince me other wise

    Word to the wise:

"Japan’s northern island of Hokkaido offers a grim lesson in the next phase of the battle against COVID-19. It acted quickly and contained an early outbreak of the coronavirus with a 3-week lockdown. But, when the governor lifted restrictions, a second wave of infections hit even harder. Twenty-six days later, the island was forced back into lockdown.

A doctor who helped coordinate the government response says he wishes they’d done things differently. “Now I regret it, we should not have lifted the first state of emergency,” Dr. Kiyoshi Nagase, chairman of the Hokkaido Medical Association, tells TIME.

Hokkaido’s story is a sobering reality check for leaders across the world as they consider easing coronavirus lockdowns: Experts say restrictions were lifted too quickly and too soon because of pressure from local businesses, coupled with a false sense of security in its declining infection rate.

“Hokkaido shows, for example, that what’s happening in the U.S. with individual governors opening up is very dangerous; of course you can’t close interstate traffic but you need to put controls in place,” says Kazuto Suzuki, Vice Dean of International Politics at Hokkaido University. “That’s what we now know: Even if you control the first wave, you can’t relax.”"

Man I'm praying that Italy president in his speech later says that they'll let us out. It's been 47 days of lockdown and it's so hard to find something positive right now...

People are not gonna care and not gonna take a 2nd wave of lock downs easily once people open things back up again. They rather just deal with the virus itself smh

i hope italy (and spain) will find good solutions to lower the lockdown up bit by bit, because otherwise everyone will run onto the streets, like the people in germany

Idk what cities you have lived in, but I can assure you that any one that has lived in major cities like chicago, Dallas, Toronto would not survive anywhere in Oklahoma lol! It sure is dirt cheap but there is literally no social life and just the whole place gives most people bad vibes!

That’s just my stance on this. Most people want more than just money and work
