I'm past letting myself get upset about the daily case figures because it's a terrible way of judging what the virus is doing right now. With our trash testing and reporting, it's more of a footprint of how the virus was progressing two weeks ago.

One of our dumbass news outlets in California claimed we had OUR WORST CORONAVIRUS DAY YET on Monday because some lab hadn't reported since the first week of April and added 1,500 cases into the system in one day. Someone in charge had to come out and tell everyone not to panic.
