ah i feel u i however do feel like NL is lowkey still underequipped for it, might change in the coming weeks

if every country responded like SK did it wouldve been way easier but idk why no country tested as much as them

Main reason why SK was super prepared is because of MERS, so they already had tested mechanisms to deal with covid19. Their testing kits are very much similar to their mers testing kits and they were able to mass produce them in a short time.

The other thing is that the number of recoveries in the EU (aside from Germany) is very misleading. Why? WHO recommends that to assess whether someone has recovered or not, they have to give two negative test results. Lots of EU states don’t have enough testing kits and they’re prioritising people with symptoms or underlying conditions. The real number of recoveries in Italy or Spain is definitely much higher than reported.

Trump is refusing to bail out the USPS

Meaning most people will no longer be able to receive their mail, and on top of that killing any chance of there being voting-by-mail.

They better lockdown Texas borders once their metro areas turn into Italy. Most of the US will be recovering but since Texas wants to open back up we need to keep those idiots in their state

How would that even work then? Wouldn’t letting them go under be considered blatantly unconstitutional?

Imagine bailing out the f***ing airlines but not the US postal service.

UPS and Fedex don’t even deliver in some areas, especially rural areas, so again this would have the biggest impact on rural areas.
