Is this even life? I can’t believe this is happening I haven’t been able to sleep fr I work for a hospital and we haven’t hit our rush yet (hopefully we never do) but I’ve already been hands on with 3 patients who later I was advised tested positive. They told me as long a I had my mask on that I’m good and that if I start feeling symptoms to stay home. (Unpaid if I don’t have PTO mind you) but what gets me is that we check everyone’s temperature before they come in. Mfs could be asymptotic and still come in. There are a lot of us essential workers that are putting our life on the line everyDay. Some people making sacrifices and not even seeing their friends or family and you got your friends and neighbors disregarding simple stay at home orders. You can leave your home to walk around but just don’t come within 6ft if anyone you don’t live with and if you’re not conducting essential business stay home. And your government creating a profit in exchange for innocent human lives

Everyday I just become more depressed than the last I don’t even want to begin to comprehend the idea of living through the next Great Depression but I can’t see a single star of light in our future rn.

Eventually innocent people will have died, the rich will have gotten richer, big banks and the rest of corporate America will get bail outs, people will suffer through widespread poverty like never seen before and we will all just blame it on China and any Asian person for that matter for not containing the virus
