Hopefully for this multiplayer spinoff they’ll just reuse the EXACT same levels from Control cus I’m tired of waiting for it to drop lmao (and if it’s a success they’ll come up with new locations as DLC.)

They can amp up the environmental destructibility and focus on NEW bosses and enemies.

As a console player, it’s the only multiplayer game that’ll make me subscribe to a paid-online service.

yeah they could just remix the oldest house the story is set up for that

i think theyll have a lot of stuff like the jukebox expeditions in this though so theyll probably come up with a bunch of new environments for that

Good point, they’ll need to have open areas to properly accommodate 4-player multiplayer

Also I’m really curious about the weapons and abilities the FBC employees will have to face the Hiss threat. Their equipment (and powers maybe?) will most likely be very different from Jesse’s; Remedy can get really creative with this gameplay aspect

Some background information on Kestrel:

The code names for their two co-op multiplayer games ‘Condor’ and ‘Kestrel’ both relate to birds.. that could explain a bit the RCU link

I think it was for the best; live service is too risky (they already have Condor/Firebreak for that), and it seemed like they were spreading themselves too thin with this many projects in the works.

yeah you're right on spreading themselves too thin

they keep saying they want to continue to make alan wake a staple franchise for them but if kestrel happened we possibly wouldnt have seen him again until like 2030
