36 chambers is literally just good bars bro

Yeah but I didnt refer to 36 chambers. All I said was the 90s had more classics. The only rap album from the 90s I mentioned was ready to die
What are some songs/albums where you think rappers are trying to shoehorn in a concept? The only ones I can really think of are maybe J Cole and that one Logic album.

well kendrick was an example. summertime 06 feels like it.
That isnt true about the 90s beats at all. If you dont like them that's fine.
No they dont lol. Everyone uses the same flow and raps on those same 808 beats to make simple ass songs. Nothing groundbreaking has been done this decade in a long ass time.
If you dont care about lyrics you arent a rap fan
That’s laughable to say. Thug has more flows and styles in one song than Nas has ever done in his whole career
The peak 90s producers doing their best work on illmatic sounds like some kids first attempt on GarageBand compared to what Lex Luger did on Flockaveli

What diverse styles does Thug have? Flows? Lol
Name the 5 best producers from this decade and let's compare to the 5 best from the 90s. Sht not even comparable
lowkey facts most rappers who got huge tried to make their albums as far from rap albums as possible

You seriously are going to deny the diverse styles of Thug? Compare what he doing on 'Sup Mate to literally rapping/crooning over an acoustic based beat on Family Don't Matter to literally doing pop sung raps on Wyclef Jean. Ain't no rapper in the 90s could even dream of having that range. Nas has the exact same style, cadence and flow on every single song on Illmatic and Thug out here doing more styles in one song than Nas ever done his whole career. You a damn clown bruh lmfao.
Lex Luger isnt even a top 5 producer this decade and hes better than any producer from the 90s. Literally, as amazing as producers like Q Tip, Dre, 9th Wonder, Madlib, etc. all are, they all ended up doing their best work in the 00s and 2010s.
You know what would be even funnier? Lets pit MBDTF up against any 90s rap album and just laugh at how those albums sound like cavemen banging rocks compared to that project.
