If anything has hurt rap this decade, it’s been the thirst to make 1-2 min rap songs to chase streams and having super overlong double albums of filler. Scorpion is a good example of that.

Most lyricists this decade have tried it at one point. That's why I said it ruined rap. Obviously people like future and thug dont do sht like that but that's not their lane at all.

The 90s clearly has better rap albums. Theres barely any classics this decade. Theres at least 1-2 year decade in the 90s.
