- of course so be it 2…I’m sure they’ll resolve it
- all things considered - Pharrell’s hook
- there’s weird glitches on Apple Music version. Like random volume jumps, weird microsecond skips and I’m not usually someone with an ear for that stuff.

maneraI think when you're a publication embedded in as much modern music history as a place like Pitchfork, you should hold a sense of responsibility to your reader, though. And to the art, too!!! That's the essence of having a platform. It feels wholy dishonest to say "we're gonna put the guy that hates everything on the big albums so we get more ad revenue." An artist's work is intrinsically linked with the reception of that work and that conversation should be taken super seriously.
At the end of the day I agree with you, though. A critic's review isn't going to change my opinion because I'm gonna like what I like and listen to what I like.

This seems to be something that is super hard to understand for a lot of people for some strange reason
People complain about Fantano for this exact reason and they just regurgitate the same NPC “he’s a guy giving his opinion” shlock like he doesn’t directly affect the way an artist and their work is perceived lol
