Really bland scene and she doesnt mesh with the vibes of the movie

I think if she had a ton of personality and hammed it up I would enjoy her a lot more, but Nolan gives her the personality of a slab of wood

She show more emotion in APEX when her boyfriend/husband dying in the beginning than here and that was a Netflix streaming movie lmao

Nolan prefers his female characters to be dry as toast. Kitty in Oppenheimer was an exception to the rule and was excellent with limited time. The dead wife in Inception is up there with some of the most boring characters in his filmography

He can’t even give Anne Hathaway much interiority outside of “I miss my husband”

Catwoman, Kitty, Natalie, Murph, Sarah, Ellie and Kat are far more dynamic characters than what people think of as a Nolan female protagonist

Tbh, not a great movie

saw it a few hrs ago and im still processing everything but this was an incredible movie

def some of the best set pieces ive seen of the year and i was thoroughly entertained by the story whole way through. honestly my memory of the book is pretty nonexistent since i havent read it since hs lmao and im sure there was lot of creative liberty taken with the story but i do kinda wish there was a but more of telemachus in the story to flesh him out a bit but i was still pretty fine with the movie being mostly odysseus pov.

i seen some complaints about the costumes online leading up to the movies release but i honestly thought they were pretty sick especially agamemnon's

all in all this is pretty convincingly movie of the year for me so far, another heater in nolan's catalogue

There is something hilarious that she is this out of touch

It was actually a decent movie. Eric Bana and her had way better chemistry than her and Matt Damon with only 5 minutes.
