Alright, im not trying to argue in bad faith. Ptolemy I Sorter was alive and died before Christ even walked the earth, so what am I supposed to get from him?
Now where did he rule?
Nah he was Greek.
Great! Now look into Serapis, and see why he was created and correlate the time of the Council of Nicaea, as well as what decision made the council gather.

Serapis was a syncretic god of Greeks and Egyptians that Ptolemy used to integrate them. His earliest mention is in 323 BC. I'm failing to see what any of this has to do with Nicaea

Then keep looking, I gave you an extensive timeline for you to find the origins of this religion. It will take time but you will need to find the answers on your own.
One big point you are missing is that the greeks did not belong in Kemet (Egypt), they took the traditions and integrated their own beliefs for control of the population and the influx of their own. The Ptolemaic era was filled with yts that raped and pillaged while being genocidal maniacs
A bridge that can help you out is by looking into Hellenism and Hellenistic Christians.

You're not really speaking objectively here. For starters, at the time prior of the institution of the Ptolemaic Dynasty the land of Egypt had been tossed around left and right by first the Assyrians, a brief comeback for the Pharaoh, then came the Achaemenid Persian occupation, and then Alexander came around. Conquest is the name of the game in the Iron Age, every peoples who had the means would conquer. It wasn't personal, nor was it an attempt at erasure, it was simply the way empires would extend their power. This certainly was the case of the Egyptians in the Bronze Age, who at their peak extended through the Levant up to southern Anatolia for a time in the New Kingdom. Most of the times, conquered states would become vassals that were mostly left to their devices as long as they paid their tithes to the ruling state or governing body. Ptolemaic Egypt wasn't a vassal, but as you said they adopted Egyptian ritual and culture into their rule in order to appease the populace. I'm not sure how you think this specific point is possibly a bad thing. Temples in the Egyptian style praising Egyptian gods were still being constructed even after Ptolemy I passed away. Would you rather they mandated worship of the Olympian Pantheon? Of course this wouldn't have been a possibility regardless, because proselytism wasn't a thing at the time. Some Hellenistic practices, like sculptural technique, were adopted in to Egypt but this is merely cultural exchange. You act as if adopting Egyptian ritual is erasure when it's the opposite. You bring up Serapis, who was invented to unite Greek and Egyptian population, but no one in Egypt even gave a s*** about that god and continued practicing their own religion. This wasn't a time of racial politics or scientific racism, race is simply not a factor here, so I don't know what makes you think this was a white versus black thing. "Black" and "White" were not indicators of ethnicity, they were merely pigments. As a matter of fact, the Greeks historically praised the Egyptians and saw them as equals in culture. If anyone, Greeks were "racist" towards Northern European barbarian tribes like the Celts. But again, this is a vastly different notion of racism and cultural hierarchy that has nothing to do with the racial politics that evolved during the colonial period and the slave trade some 2000 years later.
Now as for the connection between Serapis and Jesus, I can see what you are trying to say. Serapis was an invention to appease the population of Egypt, and a lot of the myth behind Serapis is similar to the story of Jesus in the New Testament, and even their names are similar (Christos being an alternative name to Serapis allegedly, although I tried and couldn't find any legitimate source proving that). All I can say is perhaps it could be the case that Serapis evolved into Jesus Christ as seen in the Christian texts. But your point on Christianity therefore being an extension of a supposed attempt at white supremacy from an ancient peoples who didn't know that there existed such a thing as a "white" man feels to be a bit of a stretch to me. I'm not a Christian by the way, I'm practicing lent at the moment out of respect to my mother but I don't believe in the religion itself.

I'm going to be honest with you, I'm not reading that. But you are correct in stating my objectivity, it is in purpose to invoke thought and research. It's only one thought of many that need each other to be corroborated, that's why I implored others to do their own research and not only impose my perspective of what and who've I learned from.

Fair enough, but I think you shouldn’t start your points with a demand like telling people to leave and abandon their personal beliefs and philosophies. I never knew of the innate connection between Serapis and Jesus until you brought it up, so thanks for sharing that. Bringing that up and leaving people to arrive to their own conclusions is cool, I was just put off by you telling people that they need to leave

The council of Nicaea was in 325 ad. The gospels of Matthew, mark, Luke and John, which are presented as eye witness accounts of Jesus, were already written in the first century AD. We know this because early church fathers like ignatius bishop of Rome wrote letters quoting them 95 to 110 AD. From my understanding Nicaea was a debate over the full divinity of Jesus because unlike god he was born. Do you believe there was an ulterior motive behind Nicaea, or do you think they “created” him there
The internet could create a new Tower of Babel with the right messengers. I swear Kanye had this realization 10 years ago.
How does someone know whether they have faith? I believe there had to have been a God to create this world and Jesus was definitely a real person, but I have doubts sometimes about God in general and also specifically about whether Jesus was the actual son of God or just another prophet. Do these doubts and questions mean that I don't have faith?
Also can anyone answer why God promised the people of Israel liberation? Like God felt they were his people and Jesus said something similar to the Canaanite woman, that the people of Israel were His first priority but she responded with an answer that indicates all people are entitled to God's blessings. Jesus loved this answer, but God created everyone so why was this the case in the first place?
I'm also curious about Judas, he betrayed Jesus and probably was punished for it. But if not for him, the plan of Jesus' sacrifice would not have been carried out. How is it fair that he should go to hell?
discovering the bible thru dr peterson
never realized how good some of it was
people aren't aspiring to be like Jesus enough

Yup, one of the reasons were to separate the the idea of the Holy Trinity into 3 entities.
Refer back to when I said look into Ptolemy I Soter
Also, look into Soteriology
Alexander, the greek
And the Hellenistic era
Realize that we are talking about "Africa" and before Christianity came about there were europeans who raped pillaged and imposed their beliefs on the ppl that lived there.
Learn who El is, the Elohim, Melchizedek, Thoth and the "deities" that were in the region of "Africa" during and/or before the time period I gave earlier.
Anything written is not the truth, the truth only comes from within

Every empire that conquers another people integrates their beliefs and culture. You think Egyptians didn't rape and pillage other nations when they had power? When I looked up Christianity and Hellenism I just saw posts comparing Christianity and Greek philosophy.

Faith is simply trust, whatever or whoever you trust you have faith in.
God promised the people of Israel liberation because they were the people of the Promise. Genesis 12:23. They were the line through who the Messiah who would bless all nations would be born.
Its is fair because (Mathew 26:24) It was all part of God's plan, but Judas was still an evil person who followed his heart and decided to betray an innocent person. Predestination is hard to figure out but Judas didn't betray Jesus unwillingly. Think of it like Chris Hansen when he baits pedo's The pedos still deserve jail/death even though they were baited into coming to the house.

Thank you so much for this answer and providing the verses, I understand it a lot better now
I don't know exactly what it's called, I think "Laying hands". When people pray over you and you experience the holy spirit. Has anyone in this thread felt this? I did it on a camp before being confirmed and I believe I felt the holy spirit. Would love to share some experiences about that. I had my doubts about the existence of God, but I can't explain what I felt that day if God is not real
