Shorts above my knees feelin like a s***

It’s clear that you’re ever loving it’s coming from the heart
I could see Denmark or Sweden singing it
Its got two godly Swedish producers on there so yeah definitely
EDIT: Jk there's THREE Swedish producers on there
What a moment for Amaarae
this and Kaytra gonna get more clout than she already built herself
Don't really hear it 🤔
The melody and lyrics are identical to the voice memo they made over a year ago.

Where you think he got it from

some of yall really living up to that twitter meme of 'getting serious boss baby vibes from this' with all the yeezus comparisons
So assuming this soundtrack follows with the flow of the movie….
The intro track will probably be played at the opening credits of the movie , and then Lithonia comes in when Bando realizes that no one in this “new world” knows who he is
Survive will be when he is all in his feelings and he’s thinking of his old life, then Steps Beach is him catching feelings with that lady.
And then Got To Be is when s*** really starts to pop off in the movie
The melody and lyrics are identical to the voice memo they made over a year ago.
Oh yeah, this is way more flagrant in these snippets

Donald Glover stays ripping off songs, damn!!
Is it possible Bino used AI as well to come up with melody of the song, and it ended up having very similar melodies because of that ?
Not sure how AI works when it comes to music though
Understanding this album means understanding the act Childish Gambino.
CG has always been about Donald intensely proving his musical/artistic worth. From rapping - to singing - to delivering a conceptual album. He had that "Fuck you! - I can do it too, but imma do it my way" mantra. Which is essentially a young mans game.
I think Atavista was supposed to be his final goodbye as CG. Coming of the success of This Is America (and Atlanta). He had caught that universal acclaim moment. And while he was becoming a father, suddenly his own father passes at the height of his fame and success. He cultivated that grief and love into 3.15.20 or Atavista. It had this strong concept of time within life. How it's the only constant we are all experiencing through ups and downs. How we should use it to live now and pass on our growth to the next generation. And with that - Childish Gambino was no longer in need to prove himself.
Except... this was released unmixed, unfinished, no song titles, no artwork, almost purposely made to be forgotten, smack dab in the middle of the pandemic. It's one of the best albums you've never truly heard.
And IMO I think the early CG came back up. The same mantra he had from when he started. "You guys didn't care? Well let me show I can still do it all. Every genre. From rapping to singing. And I'll tie it to a visual medium! Even bigger than the one before." A final victory lap - a final sense of vindictive ambition - a final kick against the collective shin. A full circle moment.
If there's a main take away from this man's musical journey. Is that you have to make/create/live for yourself. The final words of Atavista proclaim: Do what you want to do. And Bando double downed on it. Cause in the end, nobody gives a f***.

i think the way they've used AI here is just to make the voice sound different from theirs and to sound like grimes instead
seems like the whole song was written by them though
