Finally got aroaround to lostening to this and top 3 r definitely club classics, mean girls and girl so confusing

wasn't really in the headspace for this when it dropped and kinda hate the marketing for it and the contrived too online coke fiend party girl marketing but listened today and have to concede it is really really good - like 'her best album ever' tier immediately to me. kinda crazy this was preceded by the largely okay crash

just to add too: there's so much interesting personal and vulnerable writing to this, almost makes me annoyed with myself for thinking it'd be straight club coke anthems lol

I didnt really pay attention to the words and loved this song a lot. But I always thought it was about kinda having contempt for people who have sympathy for you, like being mad at the pity. But seeing you write the lyrics out like this makes me realize it’s actually about guilt, which is much more relatable. Awesome song.
