People who say corny s*** like this are never around women, ever.
Oh s*** the p****-getter has logged IN
Charlamagne lives for s*** like this and Drake took the obvious bait
Hold this L my guy
We got two threads simultaneously going about basically the same thing with people arguing over dumb s***

Drake with that petty ass response
You know Drake mad af punching the air with tears in his eyes
People who say corny s*** like this are never around women, ever.
how does what he said equate to never being around women?
And what does any of this have to do with being around women?
For this song to be “irrelevant” it sure seems to have been the topic of discussion literally since it dropped lmfao

Nobody talks about it outside of KTT
Has Drake ever heavily beefed with a street dude? Meek doesn’t count..
It seems he only goes at women and dudes equally as corny as him.
Drake got absolutely destroyed by King Push and him and his fan girls still get choked up and cry about to this day

“Meek doesn’t count” of course it doesn’t. Because then your narrative would be wrong.

How we talking 2nd week when we ain’t even through the first week yet?
If it lands anywhere in the top 5 first week it’s a success, even more so since it’s something different from his more recent singles
Just because it’s not the biggest drake record of all time doesn’t mean Drake is falling off that’s insane logic, if it debuted and #15 or something then I can see a cause for concern but this ain’t that
There were plenty of singles from other legends (Jay, Ye, Wayne etc) that weren’t super duper #1 smash hits s*** is part of the process. I don’t understand this hyperbolic mindset when it comes to Drake s*** is weird and he has every right to be annoyed by it
The early predictions for the second week are already out:
And who tf said Drake was falling off?
Charlamagne ain’t say that, he just said this specific song was catching on with most people
Fair, but it’s supposed to fall to #9 in its second week and will most likely be out the Top 10 the week after that. If it’s out of the Top 40 in a month’s time, would you say Charlamagne was right?
That doesn't mean anything. The song Drake dropped isn't a single. It isn't being promoted on radio. Didn't get a music video. And is CLEARLY an album cut he simply dropped to tide fans over since he delayed the album.
Acting like a 5-minute R&B cut with no hook and a song structure that wouldn't work on radio or the charts is supposed to be a multi-week #1 is disingenuous.

I mean, I guess technically? But that’s 3 weeks post-release and the album will be out by then. If we want to say it came and went in 2 weeks, sure. Idk if that criticism is fair today

You niggas conclude anything to lack being around women lmaooo how like how does calling someone feminine even prove that

This a 5 minute rnb slow paced song . This has no right to do as well as it has. Charlamagne isn’t right

5+ min song going #1 but he crying. That totally make sense

No one said it’s supposed to be, but at the same time what Charlamagne is saying is fair then. The average consumer isn’t wondering what songs were sent to radio and which weren’t, they see the word “Single” and they’re expecting a certain thing.
Obviously it’s an album cut but it was still released as a single whether it was sent to radio or not

They always have to set the most unrealistic standards for Drake and only Drake. How dare he drop a song that isn't a cultural staple and a mega smash hit? Drake could drop a song and call it an interlude and niggas would be crying about how it wasn't the song of the summer and how that means his run is over
