    These songs were not what I was expecting. The intro is so dark at the beginning and just gives you chills. That’s what I was expecting and wanted. Then we get a bunch of poppy tracks. Disappointed unfortunately, but if you like pop, you should love this album.

    i do luv it. i understand if it just wasnt for u. personally i try to get into everything abel does but i felt like that about bbtm

    What are your favorites so far?

    you gotta give me more time for a more accurate and streamlined list, but off first listen these tracks all took me to that place where i had to really stop thinking, dive in the sounds and emotions:

    alone again
    too late
    hardest to love
    snowchild
    escape from la
    faith
    blinding lights

    and the run from in your eyes- until i bleed out is absolutely incredible.

    scared to live took me out of it a bit but its a great track and it fits right after hardest to love. and the "futuristic s***give her philip k d***" bar on snowchild i let that slide cause the song itself is amazing and heartfelt.

    Heartless really doesn't fit the vibe with the rest of the songs on the album

    I was actually very impressed with the sequencing. Honestly after hours is probably the song that fits in least in the current sequencing?

    Well based off my first listen I can easily say I enjoyed this more than that EP he dropped, KL, BBTM, Starboy.

    He'll never top Trilogy, just accept it, for what is it's a lot better than his previous work

    I just like the vibes better on Trilogy and Kiss Land, they're drawn out soundscapes with him pouring his heart out

    I'm attracted to music with intense emotion the most

    But stylistically, this album is pretty as f***, with smooth ass vocals

    I just like extremes

    My top 3 from him personally so far is HoB MDM KL we’ll see where this gets ranked

    I definitely need to relisten to Thursday & echoes of silence cause my palet is way wider than it was when I last listened

    The only thing this is lacking is the truly GOAT storytelling/world-building that his first four projects had

    Production is so good tho and I love the way they did the vocals.. it’s such a beautiful cohesive album

    Weeknd stans were jumping on me telling me this was going to be his most personal and introspective album when I asked for a Thug feature
