Ride is a top 40 hit inbound.
The sample is nostalgic
the beat is so damn smooth
Chance and Do or Die SLIDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
And the Hook is so damn catchy
He needs to properly promote that jawn, it has to most potential to blow up on any platform
Needs a video and everything

I feel you. It just feels like this summer there’s been a lotta well received, high quality rap albums from blog-era stars, and it feels like they’ve all been a lot more mature in content and tone than mainstream rap has been overall this decade. Better Me Than You is right in line with them, and I think it would’ve gotten more attention and praise if released alongside this crop of albums
yo thank you for actually saying this, been screaming Better Me Than You is a good ass album, people just wont give it a chance cause its Sean

there were some tracks on that one for sure but i was annoyed he slapped that dwayne johnson voicemail onto one of the really good songs lol
i liked the one with cash cobain
I really enjoyed this first listen. Plenty to dig into, but I’m finding myself wanting to return to the more left of center explorations like Space & Time and Link Me In The Future. Near impossible comeback to land and I think he did as best as I could’ve hoped for.
Ride is like Pusha Man’s cousin
I can’t explain how tho
I’m listening to ride right now for the 100th time. I get it
This album + the recent barrage of great hip-hop albums got me thinking that Big Sean’s Better Me Than You would’ve been received a lot better if it had released this summer rather than last
Solid album ngl, find myself going back to a good few songs on there
He really dropped a good album
everybody is delivering and restoring the vibes this year. as crazy as the world and my life is right now hiphop is saving the day, being that great escape again that its always been.
I'm dead he very obviously been kicking it with Jay Electronica especially on flows like Highs and Lows which is fire. Why the random Mussolini shot lmao?
I'm not falling for the Ride propaganda...Chance sounds f***in awful on that.

doesn’t sound like a hit at all
Okay upon my third listen I noticed myself skipping alot of tracks. I'm realizing now that I really just have zero patience for Chance's voice and how he raps. It's still obnoxious as f***.
It's some very good songs on here at least. But I'm probably not putting this album on again this year.
Congrats to Chance for having a comeback that many people seem to be enjoying. I'm gonna let y'all have this one. Cause I just can't do it with this nigga no more lol
doesn’t sound like a hit at all
Do or Die is very good on it though I'll give it that
not as high as this album when I was the first day I listened, think I just really wanted to enjoy a chance album finally. Still a few good songs, but the album as a whole feels very bloated and Chance's singing just doesn't sound good on a lot of this.

I went into the album expecting to hate it and it wasn't the case on my first listen. Actually found it to be fine and pretty enjoyable. It wasn't until I got to my third playthrough that I was pretty much off it lol all the things about Chance that I hated after Surf was hitting at once and I had to turn that s*** off immediately once it got to Tree.
