Rollout has sucked and I think he made a mistake waiting so long to follow up a disaster of an album

BUT im going to give the album its due diligence and a fair listen. A few of the singles like The Highs And The Lows, Together and 333 have all been good-great releases. The only song out of all them that I wasn’t rocking with was “Tree”.

so confused by The Heart & The Tongue and Tree are supposed to be promoting the same project. the latter is so insanely ass i have no idea why he even approved it. i want to believe so bad but i have no idea wtf im supposed to expect from this. there have been so many promos for this and none of them sound like they're from the same album (forgot yah know was supposed to be on this for example)

This rollout really does confirm chance was lying his ass off about being truly independent back in the acid rap/coloring book days

I think that all really depends on whether there's still a Star Line and Star Line Gallery distinction. I'm really only looking at "Tree" as the song "promoting" this project. We'll have to see what ends up on it that we've already heard before then. Maybe everything, maybe nothing.

Chance rollouts always confusing, he did the same thing before the big day, where he teased a bunch of songs that weren't on the album like that all that song and groceries

His old manager was doing a lot of the heavy lifting.

i'm rooting for chance. dude went from young and on top of the world to being universally panned and s*** on in his mid 20s. i know it felt like my whole high school was feasting when Coloring Book dropped and even before then, we listened to Acid Rap daily.
