That's not why it's corny and you know it. I wish rappers would stop doing this hard d**** too but Chance's album was sonically and lyrically awful. My point was that there's a ton of space between a depressed d*** addict and an upstanding Christian servant of God

We aren’t begging him to do d**** again and be depressed. We are saying we like him when he is vulnerable. Ultralight bean verse has that feeling even with religion . It’s many of our collective feelings about Jesus is king . You can make good music that doesn’t say praise god and Jesus .

The TBD Interactions with fans just made me realize he hasn't grown up tbh.
No artist is good with criticism but you can't be telling people about positivity and praising god while getting folks fired and saying "eat a d***"
He set expectations for himself and then went the opposite of em at the hint of criticism.
People gonna go harder on him for that.
