But just cause they securing the bag doesn’t mean they above criticism. The criticism is validMAYBE the criticism would be valid if it were applied fairly but since very few people (and no people with any amount of reach) criticize male rappers for capitalizing on women's sexuality, it isn't.
even then, explain how it's irresponsible for female artists to make music that's relevant to their lives and their fans lives? how is it unprofessional when so much rap has hypersexuality bound into the lyrics? it seems to me like the only difference is that THAT is men making music that sexualizes women & THIS is women making music that sexualizes us

I still believe there's a difference between signed artists that were chosen to fill a market and an artist signed for their artistry (the label believed in them and isn't on some bs from jump)
Also when said artist doesn't deliver on what they agreed to (recoup the budget, projections weren't met) I'm inclined to believe that that artist would have no choice but to follow a template or fall off.
We don't know the conditions of female rappers, maybe the fans demand this type of content at the expense of the artist even having the time to develop their individual artistry
Almost like they're factory workers... Idk
