If a woman want to be bad then let her be bad

It ain’t Megan the stallion or nicki responsibility to be goodie two shoes

Cardio a former stripper from the Bronx for Christ sake she really bout this life that’s been her hustle thru hard times

    Okay
Just saying we used to have mainstream female rappers like Lauryn hill who had actual depth
Cardi, Megan, and Nicki all just make the same s***pandering music.

Whos to say wap isnt uplifting for women

I’d say it’s as uplifting for women as male rappers talking about f***ing mad girls and cheating on their s.os is uplifting for men

Man now that I think about it,could you guys imagine if nicki, meg and cardi had a change in direction and started promoting less sexual aspects of their women empowerment? Would they lose fans?

What are they expressing? Don’t think I’m just picking on this song, there’s many songs that have no expression but they don’t have the means to get it out like meg and cardi

    they're openly expressing their sexuality?

you don't hold the grounds over what is/isn't an expression of oneself lmao, tell me what qualifies as an "expression" to you?

@ all the Ye fans itt who have a problem with this song.

How do you feel about some of the sexual lyrics on some of Kanyes albums

For me they're literally the worst songs on the album, usually. I don't wanna hear no b**** moaning and making p***o sounds while im walking in the street, nor hear p***o lyrics on my way to work.

And yknow ceelo right, young people (girls AND boys) deadass look up to people like nicki and since all her lyrics i get f***ed by this and i ride like that its no wonder why many zoomer girls think its ok to practice hoe-like behavior

Look at Lil Baby and Bigger Picture, it hit top five on charts for like three weeks straight. You can take a popular artist and still have them make a hit with conscious lyrics.

And how I support them? I listen lmao.

Dudes in this thread will co-sign Ceelo, but celebrate/listen to male rappers who perpetuate violence, materialism, and toxic masculinity w/o saying a word.

Because if you treated women like WAP they'd slap tf out of you. They'd say you are objectifying and toxic. I don't like it when men do it either, if i want to watch p*** im a grown ass man ill watch p***. You can be sexual but have some substance, some class. Or be like playboi carti and say it in some grool language i cant understand anyway

Also this man literally said you cannot rape unconscious women because raped women would remember being raped

I think one of the big things too is the fact that certain topics both have to apparently be mutually exclusive. You can be up in the club on a weekend popping it and still be killing it in a career, and it never seems like there's that mix of empowerment in these songs.
