It’s ok they wouldnt do it.
Can easily digitize liner notes on streaming and they have refused to do it for 15 plus years.
They just now figured out how to put credits on streaming platforms in the last few years and some artists still dont give a s*** (coughdrakewassupmancough)

#Noticing
Oh wow that's very cool
yeah ill never forget going to cop from best buy, spinning this with the homies, absolutely loving the music and then seeing the revealed design after ejecting it like yoooo wtf.
some people will never understand how much something like that can complete the experience and turn a great album into a real experience and memory.

We really don't know how good we had it
Some are as iconic as the album art IMO
The giant pot leaf on The Chronic
Physical media are Funko Pops
When they came with posters

gimmicks that the streaming age has weeded out in favor of pure musical experience. Thank you Based Streaming Services
Did artists stop doing this? I feel like a Tyler The Creator CD is probably still elaborate and different like these
Artists that care about this kind of presentation still do this on CDs and also do it through music videos, instagram collages etc.
There are perhaps less artists that do it often, but I can't quantify that
Might I suggest that we all do
Something
what’s the point of the thread if the first thing you admit is you don’t buy physical media anymore? how you say it’s a lost art in the era of multiple CD variants?
Here’s a CD that just dropped 2 weeks ago, the design is that far off from the one in OP or something? it comes with 2 posters as well and the booklet just like the CDs back then. maybe we all just need to let go of the past and start thinking about idk, today or something lol

And it sits on my library CD shelf as we speak
Real
Artists with fanbases (so pre 2017) will continue to do this because their fans love music.
