lucky starIn a really condensed explanation, they’re essentially a bot that scans your resume for keywords to make sure it matches with the job listing. For example, if it asks for experience in data visualization, it’ll scan for mentions of data visualization on your resume. If it doesn’t match up to a certain percentage, the system auto-rejects it before it even gets to a recruiter’s eyes.

Do you know what you wanna go into?
A poli sci degree is so broad that you can go into marketing, politics, PR, law, etc.
You really have a lot of options. You just have to nail down what exactly you wanna do (and I know that's hard) and then get your foot in the door.

Here my tip: Separate yourself from the rest, seek out what you really want and when you do find it give yourself a quick reminder that there are other applicants such as yourself wanting this job, so now its on you to sell yourself and be honest and truely willing if you want it.
I did this too, i had an application letter i sent to dozens of job vacancies and got a bs response or no response at all.
So i did what i said above and it worked, till this point tho so we'll see

I called a recruiting agency and they basically hung up on me because i had no work or even volunteer experience unfortunately
