It is really a talent to be able to so consistently miss the point and just continue on spouting bullshit. awe-inspiring.

yeah but synopsis implies that a communist revolution will happen soon for all his arguments to make sense so who cares tbh

Nope, i've never said it will happen soon.

What a boneheaded ass take lmao. But when you consider the source it’s not surprising. Why would you abolish the Harvard’s & Yale’s if you could just give assistance to those who need it? Guy is a moron lol

Hey idiot no one said to take a wrecking ball to the schools.

How much do you guys think going to school out of state contributes to the overall student debt issue?

From my experience it was much, much easier to get in state tuition payed for via scholarships, if I were to go out of state, I would not have been allotted the same opportunity.

Housing in this situation should also be cheaper if staying at home.

everybody i know with outstanding loans (>$50k) either went to an out of state school, private school (without the aid), or they’re aiming to be a doctor or lawyer

Sheesh yikes. Any rebuttal from anyone that still feels like progressives are more electable? 👀

    it’s just silliness

One can foolishly say that because were the richest country on earth, then Ofc we should be able to have the best public services if we invested in them fully

The problem with that sentiment is that we are the richest country on earth because we allow for the most incentives and opportunities for private endeavors that generate the huge revenues that makes our country so rich. Take that away and we are an overpopulated mediocre populus with many of the richest or smartest people taking their talents to a country that will compensate them

well for one, he doesn't remember correctly. Ilhan is winning her district with 64% of the vote

as far as i know, her district is hennepin county, partially anoka, partially ramsay. biden lost anoka county, and won the other two with about 70-71% of the vote in each county. so yeah, 15%? total lie.

  • Nov 10, 2020

also pretty sure mondaire jones is a progressive, and biden is running about 12 points behind him lol

If Synopsis thought a revolution was coming soon, I don't think he would be so cynical on here. As it stands, I think his position is pretty bleak with Joe Biden being elected to bring things back to a status quo of respectability.

he's also running behind tlaib pretty sure.

Again that’s good to hear, but I do want to check on one thing: what is the political makeup of these districts? How progressive overall are they? Would they be places that a Dem would easily win in no matter what?

I think battleground district results (if we’re talking about district level races and not state or national level races) are going to be the most informative here. Just like how I think a***yzing the difference between Biden and Hillary’s lead in places like California and Washington is pointless, a***yzing these results if they’re all in hyper progressive places to start with isn’t super revealing. Places like that Nebraska race standout because Nebraska’s 2nd district are battlegrounds. Progressives need to find ways to win there if they want to expand their influence.

when I say he's running behind Mondaire, I mean that biden is losing to trump in that county.

I’m not conservative at all but

    Defund the police

    • people misunderstand this and they get scared for their safety. Lots of crime issues and to them reducing funding for police is counterintuitive

    M4A

    • people think this will hurt the economy/cost too much. Also worry that it will result in a worse healthcare system and hurt jobs by getting rid of private insurance

    Schooling for all

    • assuming this is college it’s the same thing of people worried it’ll ruin the economy in terms of cost

    Student debt remove

    • as above. Honestly as left as I am even I’m not so sure about this

    Green new deal

    • environmental regulations hurt free business and by proxy hurt the economy is the argument against it

so people are misinformed and believe fearmongering rhetoric they read on social media

Anyone who took the time to look into Bloomberg’s platform would agree

Too bad he’s uncharismatic and also kind of a dirtbag

But we’re leading a country not having a popularity contest or a nice guy contest
