come on dude. that men increasingly feel alienated and this alienation leads to toxicity which results in radicalism/etc? That men feel like they don't have roles in society or feel socially isolated from friends and partners? That men statistically have less friends, smaller social circles, and make less and live more paltry lives than ever before? That men increasingly have issues with integration in workplace and education? That men are having less kids and increasingly have gaps between family roles, expectations, and reality? What do you want me to do, link you scientific articles on male suicide before you're satisfied?

    I feel heard

I feel all of this but the underlying problem imo is the hyper capitalist system and most young men ain’t tryna hear that s*** when they have all those issues you mentioned above.

It’s much easier to sell the idea of getting rich quick to them

I disagree with this. I think men do actually want to hear solutions - including radical ones. There is a reason it is so easy to radicalize men disaffected and it’s because of lack of options they see. Now I know this is nuanced, but it’s not as if men have a biological mechanism that makes it easier to radicalize them into Nazism or libertarianism than left leaning ideologies. It’s just that the topics involved in traditional discourse seem more accepting in some directions to those in those spaces. I think increasingly many men - particularly younger ones - are sympathetic to any form of solutions so long as they understand the context of what they feel and why.

This is not what is being said we are in a transitional period from old generations (rigid gender roles and expectations) to new freedoms, ideas, and lifestyles (this is not a bad thing nor are we all the way there, but it’s a massive upheaval of generational tradition). We have children born to parents who existed before the sexual revolution for example. This isn’t about men being entitled to anything. It’s a reality that shifting norms between generations still leaves a grey area transitionally of men exposed to burgeoning social norms and morals trapped between pressures of the old world which still maintain an often highly toxic presence, emphasized further by the economics that facilitate material life

The idea this even goes back to “men just feel entitled to a wife” is the entire point. Like yea they feel entitled to a wife because their pre-sexual revolution father got a wife because of economic dependence from women on men and very often not real love or relationships, and now that that is increasingly no longer the case due to the increase of educated career women and lower birth rates, men are chastised by their older generational counterparts for not having a partner, and are not given clear alternatives within common discourse. They are instead chastised the same way as if that is their sole vehicle for finding purpose.

Def agree to an extent I just think in America especially you’re gonna find young men leaning towards popular right wing content more cause their not as focused on politics and mostly being coddled for their opinions and feelings rather than being challenged.

then its up to them to change those attitudes as they grow in life and eventually do form those connections with people. Its not a issue the gov can solve. But i think you and i both know exactly what they wanna hear . they want to blame women for their problems.

Of course the government can’t solve those issues. No one rational is asking the government to just fix generational issues or solve economic distress compounding social issues. However there is a difference between being acknowledged as a constituency and recognition these things exist on a social and policy level (even if the justification is only in terms of discourse) vs acting as if they are wholly unimportant or negligible.
