if they have "always" been a conservative group then why would their be a "shift"? dont be racist.
Ideology means more in american politics than class nowadays. See the education gap in voting has gotten bigger.
For example union households going towards trump despite him being a complete psycho on unions

you’re making broad assertions man that are flat out wrong, not even talking about your ideology nonsense
if you want to argue a specific subset of Latinos based off their material circumstances ex) Cuban expats leaving Cuba then yes there is a clear connect between their loss of status and reactionary position
You do realize Hispanics still overwhelmingly vote Democrat for Hispanics that do vote as are the same with all minorities
Again nonsense dude, just broad generalizations we’ve all heard verbatim lol

I didn't say there wasn't a connect obviously cuban slave owners are fascists. Im just saying class in politics is becoming less important than before
For example union households going towards trump despite him being a complete psycho on unions
he's not a "psycho on unions", he has basically the same stance as most democrats who also do nothing for labor unions. american organized labor is mostly a joke anyway and there's no major ideological antagonisms between an AFL-CIO bueracrat and a local DNC politician. the Teamsters aligning with Trump only doesn't make sense if you've never worked in a trade before and actually think the DNC functions as a labor party.

He actively did what he could to gut unions fam theres articles upon articles about it. im pretty sure biden used billions of dollars of taxpayer money to bailout the teamsters. Theres a clear difference. They just align with trump cause nobody really cares and they like his socially conservative views .

biden spent most of his career helping deregulate the industries and encouraging disastrous free trade policies and offshoring. thats biden's real legacy as a "pro-labor" guy.
there's not a clear difference because the DNC is not even a s***ty european-style social democratic labor party, its a party for the super rich. I thought this was well established by now.

there's truth to this...
i used to work with teamsters, there were some super political, pro-union guys and there were some guys that just didn't give a f***

I have been a union member for 8 years and concur
There are some true dumbasses out there who are union members and at the same time that don’t understand how a union works, what the benefits workers obtain from union work are, and how critical it is to have a political environment that supports unions is.
South Florida spanish talk radio is where the Fox News propaganda machine got their inspiration, they can say pretty much anything unchecked. And that's how they get those Cubans to believe that democrats are the second coming of Fidel Castro
Source on Fox News getting their inspiration from them?

I listen to Billy Corben's weekly podcast "Because Miami" (director of the og cocaine cowboys and the HBO doc 537 votes) and they're always talking about it
its amazing some people believe the government is using lex luthor type powers to control the weather before coming to terms with climate change
it’s going to be a rough decade

I’ve said this many times before and I’ll say it again because yall don’t get it:
She absolutely has to go out of her way to appear aggressively centrist because the perception of her is that she is a radical leftist (in large part because she is black, female, and from San Francisco), which middle aged cacs in the Rust Belt swing states don’t want (sorry but young Very Online progressives in big cities are not how you win elections because of the electoral college).
The whole reason Trump has called her “Comrade Kamala” is because focus groups have shown that is one of the negative connections with her — that she’s an out of touch elite Leftist from the Coast.
If you want to complain about this campaign, complain that the Electoral College is absolute bullshit. Don’t hate the player, hate the game.
You're the only one who doesn't get it if you genuinely believe this
She is what she appears to be

You disagree that the voters in the states that matter don’t view her as “too far left”? You don’t think it’s causing people to view her as more radically left because she’s a black woman from San Francisco?
I think disagreeing with that is actually a wild proposition. There was a poll last year that she was seen as further left than Bernie and Warren.
It would be foolish of her to not fight against that when it’s not the young Very Online people that will decide the election
