    lol

No retort... If you're just going to show up to vote for someone who won't win, it's a waste of time. If he wants to write in someone.. Okay. But vote for local issues and candidates. Do your research. That makes real incremental change.

this is just liberal "common sense" nonsense. your local politicians do not matter in the slightest and "incremental change" is not a real thing.

Incremental change is literally the story of our country for the most part.

It's 100% true. Our country usually takes a few steps forward and then a few steps back. You can never be complacent or you end up like we are now with Roe V Wade overturned.

damn, you are kinda f***ed because the "democratic" party successfully sued to keep third parties off the ballot in that state. I would just spoil my ballot tbh.

    Not really

the civil war was actually incremental change for African slaves

  • Sep 11, 2024

And even if it was, “incremental change” can be better stated as “inconsequential change”

I noticed that it’s only red vs blue on the ballot. I’ve felt cheated since I was 18

I mean just to give an example as to how “incremental change” is another farce electoralists use

How about how people still deny this country’s interwoven and continued relationship with slavery and even celebrate historic slavers

Washington? Jackson? All slavers. We still practice slavery through the private prison system and predatory policing against black Americans

But hey man, incremental change right? The civil war and civil rights movements were part of incremental change and we can’t attack that because it’s part of our history. So there’s no problem here to be mad about. Just vote

That's an outlier. A great one because of what eventually occured. But, an outlier nonetheless. There are several others, but for the most part it's a tug and pull for change.

    No it hasn’t been

Most of this country’s massive changes came from violent struggle

Labor rights came from violent struggle. It took violent riots and illegal press practices to get food regulation. The New Deal and Great Society bills came to appease an increasingly radical and violent working class. Slavery (on paper) became abolished through a civil war

    “Incremental change” is a farce
