Also if ur a minority and ur apathy towards other minorities leads to u coalescing with the white supremacist structure of this country then what really are you? A willing slave?
"thats the name of the game", he says to an arab child burning to death
You need explanation?
Yes? Kamala is on television cohorting with Liz Cheney and attempting to get the suburban white vote and failing miserably.
Americans voted for Trump primarily because they wanted to punish the current class and because they felt like they weren't economically healthy.
They put that above Trump's blatant racism, sexism, greed, corruption etc. I shouldn't have to bend over backwards to protect groups that aren't interested in protecting one another based on race and creed.
Class warfare tho? They understand money.

Kamalas wins, formerly bidens wins, has now had to rebrand to democratic wins, down horrendous

If I was @Snowboy I'd be crying and tagging mods to get you banned after you called me a slave lmao.
That's not the point. The point is the average working class American does not care for people who are not in their community- and just telling them they're supporting white supremacists power structures isn't gonna magically make them open their eyes because they don't feel racist.
We can extend it even to trans people- trans people are just regular people. If we look at studies the majority of people in America will agree they are unfairly mistreated in society.
Even if they harbor transphobic ideology they will not go as far as hating them, at least institutionally.
Okay so why do they still vote for representatives that will step all over them?
Because they do not feel transphobic, they don't feel the effect of what's happening. The answer is not propping up trans or black problems because then those other groups will just feel like you care more about them at their expense and it comes across as a pump and dump formula especially when America is still very racist and sexist.
You can yell at someone all day and beat them over their head with literature they will just move further and further to the Republican party. But even trans people are regular, working class people.
We need class solidarity even if it means extending the rights to people who have been the oppressors because that's the only way people will take the change and even then it's gonna be slow
but that's just my opinion

sorry bout the other day. didn't mean to offend you
That's not my point. I'm not dooming, I've decided to grind harder. To start caring more cause clearly I'm not caring enough.
I'm despairing because I know the next 4 years is gonna be a living hell and that's IF we don't take Trump at his word and can assume it's only 4 years.
What good is it to spend the next 4 years upset about Gaza or the quality of life for migrants- and then allow Trump, who is explicitly worse and has been worse categorically, for those groups to get in power and ruin everything? Not to be too hyperbolic but I refuse to look in a history book and see that I was one of people who allowed Hitler to rise in Nazi Germany
I have to care about something or else I care about nothing.
I don't owe them because I'm a minority, just like they don't owe me. I don't expect them to fight the same for black people because historically they never have. I only owe them out of humanitarian efforts and what I deem as morally just.
I've never described myself as a communist but a lot of what I say has a communist slant right? Because that's what I believe to be true. I've never put communism on a pedestal especially not eastern bloc communism because it historically has its own issues. I benefit heavily from this society, at the cost of many other liberties but I do benefit.
I live in the United States of America. I don't blame people for behaving how they do when they're forced to exist in a society that's unfair to them. I'm not a soldier, I'm not a politician, I'm a regular person who knows where my political power begins and ends- and what I have to do day to day to create the community I want to live in.
The truth is, I was born in the USA, I have no choice but to participate in the American system of voting, and if I give in to apathy or anarchy my enemy will not and they will dominate my life. People literally died trying to give me these rights. People fight every day to remove them.
These systems and games are meant for us to use as well- and even if I advocate for socialist policies and try to fund humanitarian efforts what good is all that if I can't even exercise my right to vote or have a livable wage because Republicans are the ones going out making the policies?
It's backwards thinking. The best I can do is keep pushing more left so that what's seen as the center in the U.S catches up to the rest of the free world. Keep pushing more left and hopefully it will stick when more and more are given seats.
It's not even a point of it being the lesser of two evils. It's the fact that this is all we have right now. Could someone come along and create a revolution? Who's it gonna be not Andrew Yang. No one we know in sight.
Voting Democrat isn't out of party loyalty it's out of necessity. We're all fed up of the system, even Republicans. But republicans won't magically vote for any other party when they get all they want and some from the one they current have.
It's good to point out the follies of the system and the flaws of the democratic party. It's healthy. But when it's time to lock in I promise Republicans do not care about all that.
yeah I had you confused with another user that’s why I called you a communist, my bad.
