It’s funny yall have the awareness to use MAGA as an insult for fascist tendencies but be in here all day parroting how both parties are the exact same

both parties are maga, that is our point

look at mr kamala voter in this thread who has been posting nativist bs for 3 days now about how he needed to vote for "americans first"

I don't owe anybody anything just because we're all minorities.

This election should have been enough proof of that. Dems run on that platform and it's clear that it means nothing

you don’t, and no one is trying to guilt trip you into anything I don’t think anyone cares about what anyone does here outside this forum we are just engaging in discussion, from your last post.

People are just telling you your anger being directed at one of the two lesser evil parties not being in office is frankly wrong, and from someone who said themselves they were a communists and you seem well read, it is honestly a shallow and ultimately revisionist, non-Marxist a***ysis

No one is seriously telling you that Trump is better or that your family should suffer more or whatever (I’m not talking about whatever personal spats you and snowboy have)

But if the most you can grasp from anything in this election post 11/6, is that America is doomed, the working class is overtly racist and we should keep voting Democrats because communism is a utopia, then you have completely missed the mark. No one has ever mentioned once some grandeur version of how America could look under communism, but I disgress.

If you want to believe organizing under a Democrats are easier than conservatives that is fine, movements don’t just stop or end regardless of which party is in office. Those who are committed and invested in pushing forward class struggle in whatever avenue of society they can, have been organizing under republicans and democrats and will keep doing so.

Mfers think they've transcended political discourse and discovered unfounded territory by saying "well uh akshually both sides 🤓" in a system of government where we currently can only pick one of the sides

Riiiigghht. We'd be living in 2124 if people who had a whole lot of s*** to say that amounts to nothing useful would just wake up to reality

Bernie Sanders says Americans ‘have a right to be angry’: Full interview

Bernie needs to toughen up. I’d love to see him call out Pelosi the way Trump goes after Republicans.

B**** ass Pelosi’s the real problem and I don’t get how she’s back in Congress again she’s been there forever. B**** can barely talk Shii makes no sense...

That's not my point. I'm not dooming, I've decided to grind harder. To start caring more cause clearly I'm not caring enough.

I'm despairing because I know the next 4 years is gonna be a living hell and that's IF we don't take Trump at his word and can assume it's only 4 years.

What good is it to spend the next 4 years upset about Gaza or the quality of life for migrants- and then allow Trump, who is explicitly worse and has been worse categorically, for those groups to get in power and ruin everything? Not to be too hyperbolic but I refuse to look in a history book and see that I was one of people who allowed Hitler to rise in Nazi Germany I have to care about something or else I care about nothing.

I don't owe them because I'm a minority, just like they don't owe me. I don't expect them to fight the same for black people because historically they never have. I only owe them out of humanitarian efforts and what I deem as morally just.

I've never described myself as a communist but a lot of what I say has a communist slant right? Because that's what I believe to be true. I've never put communism on a pedestal especially not eastern bloc communism because it historically has its own issues. I benefit heavily from this society, at the cost of many other liberties but I do benefit.

I live in the United States of America. I don't blame people for behaving how they do when they're forced to exist in a society that's unfair to them. I'm not a soldier, I'm not a politician, I'm a regular person who knows where my political power begins and ends- and what I have to do day to day to create the community I want to live in.

The truth is, I was born in the USA, I have no choice but to participate in the American system of voting, and if I give in to apathy or anarchy my enemy will not and they will dominate my life. People literally died trying to give me these rights. People fight every day to remove them.

These systems and games are meant for us to use as well- and even if I advocate for socialist policies and try to fund humanitarian efforts what good is all that if I can't even exercise my right to vote or have a livable wage because Republicans are the ones going out making the policies?

It's backwards thinking. The best I can do is keep pushing more left so that what's seen as the center in the U.S catches up to the rest of the free world. Keep pushing more left and hopefully it will stick when more and more are given seats.

It's not even a point of it being the lesser of two evils. It's the fact that this is all we have right now. Could someone come along and create a revolution? Who's it gonna be not Andrew Yang. No one we know in sight.

Voting Democrat isn't out of party loyalty it's out of necessity. We're all fed up of the system, even Republicans. But republicans won't magically vote for any other party when they get all they want and some from the one they current have.

It's good to point out the follies of the system and the flaws of the democratic party. It's healthy. But when it's time to lock in I promise Republicans do not care about all that.

It's a losing strategy. Democrats bet on intersectional solidarity based on race, sex, and rights.

Whether we like it or not, Asians don't see themselves as black, Mexican Americans don't see themselves as immigrants, and an astonishing amount of women don't see themselves needing their rights to abortion protected.

Just because I'm a minority doesn't mean I have to want what's best for other demographics especially since they don't always want what's best for me. It's a moot point.

You could make the case that that's because they've fallen victim to the traps of late stage capitalism and white supremacy and I would agree but simply telling them that and hoping they form a coalition together still doesn't do it.
