Need to see a venn diagram or whatever that showed how the Velvets, Soft Machine, King Crimson, Roxy, Bowie etc were interconnected
can also throw the goat Zappa into the mix because of the connections with people like Adrian Belew and Eddie Jobson
Real ones (including Eno) know the best Roxy album is Stranded
Have only heard the first, will confirm or deny your post in coming weeks

That's a bit of a stretch
the only yanks I was going to allow were the velvets because of the cale/welsh connection

The Bowie stuff is music you keep in rotation for the rest of your life

Queen Cate and King Bill ran away with it
liked the iggy pop one too
Watching all the Tarantino films for the first time in years
Inglourious is really the masterpiece imo. The opening scene and down in the basement bar are two of his opuses
Hateful 8 way up there
Could have been up there but falls victim to the self indulgence and some of the writing not landing as well for me
And i wouldn't say there's a lack of focus but the film def feels chaotic in a way that doesn't feel satisfying to me. It's a hangout movie, the plot is 2nd and i'm okay with that... but then why throw in so many of them?
I loved Leo & Brads performances and i liked their characters
Also the way it was shot was cool and he tried some different things which i respect
But overall it's a great film, just not top tier
