He’s got a small comedic role in the Tony Scott film written by Tarantino True Romance but youve seen that one right
Ive said it before but Brad Pitt is such a great actor in terms of body acting. Which really comes in handy for more comedic roles
Phoenix too and although he has played some absurd and funny roles (like The Master in which he’s the highlight for me) i’d like to see sometime what he could bring to the table in an actual full blown comedy
I didn't know I could get erect this fast

Buster signing to MGM is his downfall
He wouldn't have taken such a s***ty deal if he wasn't s***faced all the time
and his voice didn't really translate that well to sound anyway. It was a miracle that chaplin managed to carry on to be honest.
Also doing stunts like that as a young man's game and he was getting old and had a lot of injuries

At least his Pre-Code films he did weren’t as great but evidence of one actor can’t transition into sound era. I know it’s in their infancy and mostly grounded.

Can't quite decipher what you're saying here but I think a big difference is the fact that Keaton and Lloyd were both playing characters who would be talking otherwise but the Tramp character was more or less mute so it was like a cheat code for Chaplin to transition to sound films
