Definitely korok and named locations, bubblefrogs don't count towards the completion meter
What counts towards 100% :
Named locations, korok seeds, shrines, towers, cave entrances, wells, all shops and points of interest (fairies, shops, dispensers, stables, towns, etc.), light roots, chasms, tears, lore tablets,

Whenever I read s*** like this I’m always struck by how bad people are at deconstruction and a***ysis when making comparisons.
Like, imagine comparing Shrines, 90% of which are uniquely crafted puzzles that require you to engage with basically every mechanic in the game, to just mundane Ubisoft type busywork where you just do the same s*** every single time with little to no variance whatsoever.
Also, f*** it, I’m gonna say. Criticizing the game for using the same map is not a genuine criticism worth taking seriously because we’ve known about this since DAY ONE.
It’s part of the premise of the f***ing game. If you reject a core component of the game’s premise, then it’s simply not for you. Same with Yakuza, and that game does it to a degree that FAR exceeds this.
Hell, given the mechanical complexity of this game’s systems, it probably wouldn’t have even been feasible to make while also crafting a brand new map, it took 6 years as is.

I've come to learn that a lot of people do not want to engage a game in its own terms. First botw, and now totk are prime examples of this
This game's reward system is lowkey stronger than many would like to admit. Every reward is useful in a way. The main weakness would be surprisingly the old maps, cause they're rendered useless if you already claimed the treasure beforehand. I think the treasure chests should've spawned when you claim a treasure map, not hidden in mines or forests, but like the chests that spawn when you befriend a dog in stables. Have them hidden in the most difficult terrains to navigate in the depths so its even more of a challenge to find them. And in the mines they could've put maybe even more blueprints.
Also, speaking of rewards, 150 hours in and fighting enemy camps is still very useful and a total net positive, especially in the depths. Arrows, enemy horns and zonaite are too useful still, and i just discovered the power of gibdo fused arrows. Glad i had ~90 gibdo parts, i can easily end silver enemies with like 4 of those
I beg other devs to shamelessly copy the fuse system like they did the paraglider, the shrine of resurrection vista and the climbing of botw. Make crafting fun and useful

sandbox open world yes. We need less open world games unless they are sandbox and allow a lot of player choice or different ways for players to play

I didnt mean for it to be that deep actually lol. I was moreso thinking of one of the biggest trends of the past 10 years being crafting and how lackluster it always felt in open world games, botw included, and how fuse elegantly fixed my main issues with it. Crafting in totk is immediate, intuitive, useful and makes finding resources around rewarding. One of the biggest elden ring memes is finding a purple glowing loot and it being a useless leaf. How crafting was made a big deal in the marketing and i never really used it unless i wanted to cheese the godskins.
Now the solution isnt as simple as copy pasting fuse, as fuse works also because it's in botw's physics engine, but this way of thinking is what i'd want other devs to consider, at the cost of realism and immersion even.
