AJ proved losses don't mean that much. but he gotta step his game up if he wants to fight the elite heavyweights
lol he didnt he beat a guy he should've beaten the first time. Wilder lost to a one of the most skilled heavy weights of the generation. Loses don't mean as much when you fight real competition for example sugar ray robinson
In terms of an upset, you can compare it to the first aj/ruiz fight. If they're comparing it to the blow out of a second fight then thats weird.
bro most people in the boxing world knew fury was the better boxer. A lot of people agreed if he fought more aggressively he'd win. Joshua lost to some mid tier boxer who really shouldn't be mentioned in the top 5 and someone he should've beaten the first time around.
It all comes back to that right hand everyone has to be perfect against him to win all he needs is 1 shot honestly so I can see why he was the betting favorite
Fighters like that once they get cracked it's over for them. Wilder can never beat Fury
This was the easiest bet I ever won. Can't believe wilder was the favorite
Yeah but he never lost before today so niggas get a little to confident/blind to reality especially when you got the results he’s had over the years hopefully this loss opens his eyes
Happens to a lot of fighters. That first loss can help you get better.
Most great had some really bad days.

Yeah he's definitely gotta make adjustments but I think a loss like this is something that Spurs that. I've said that Wilder would have trouble vs the elite guys because he's never had to lose and change his game. Fury got the draw and considered it a loss so he switched up, AJ got smarter and boxed from the outside better after the loss. It's up to Wilder now but I think this could end up being good long term, granted he's pretty old but he can now at least try to make change in his game
Honestly I feel like a fighter like Wilder is gonna lose eventually but it how he handles that eventual is what’s gonna make him next level. He shouldn’t take that 3rd fight but I hope he returns by the end of the yr with something new.
So deflated...Love Fury and his story but Wilder's my guy. Been waiting so long for an american to be the undisputed heavyweight champ.

You can say a lot about Wilder but he for sure will bounce back from an L.
Dude was clearly not fully capable of defending himself respectably after round 3 or so and was still fighting. A busted ear drum is a serious injury especially if you're boxing lmao

still people forget about his right arm, that s*** is a nuclear weapon. if he improves his skills to a point where he can stand with the top guys and buy enough space to throw it he can def come back.

I agree he's just not as skilled as Fury but he can def hold his own against plenty of other fishes in the division

Of course we knew he was the better boxer. But we didn't think he would TKO Wilder that way

niggas don’t understand how skillful fury really is at f***ing 6’9 270 pounds he shouldn’t be able to move/fight like that at that size its truly amazing to watch

idk how a guy with so much back fat can be that athletic
You don't watch boxing. Lot of the all time greats have embarassing losses. Lennox got embarrassed by Rahman and he was a 15-1 underdog.
35 year old Wilder ain’t Lennox Lewis bruh

I agree 100% on that part tho I knew fury would win but i didn't expect it like that. Wouldn't call it an upset tho we witnessed boxing greatness from Fury and all time great performance. Better than Klitschko fight for sure
I’m seeing a lot of low key racists in here. Tyson Fury a goat.

Coming back from this and d*** addiction is really something special. Love that man.

facts lmao sugar ray robinson arguably the most skilled boxer ever lost damn near 20 times. Mike lost. Ali lost

He looked so shocked when he hit the canvas,he didn’t know how to take that

Yeah and this wasn't nearly as bad as the fashion that Lewis went down in. This heavyweight boxing, s*** happens. No ones coming back from a ruptured ear drum. I kinda think the dreams dead tbh, but I'm not going to count him out.
