It’s f***ing Spider-Man, he transcends the genre.
we don't need this many spider man movies man
we don't need this many spider man movies man
I mean there is clearly demand for them lmao
If you want to say "we don't need X or Y movies" that could apply to just about any movie that ever existed
we don't need this many spider man movies man
Pack it up everyone its over.
Gandalf The Black on the Kanye site said we dont need anymore Spider-Man movies. Please stop Sony.
So what exactly made this film so successful because this is kindve absurd. Was it the 5 year wait since NWH?
Spider-Man is the most popular Superhero of all time
Oh yea spider man def gonna be in secret wars now
we don't need this many spider man movies man

we don't need this many spider man movies man
Bruh just don’t watch the movies, lmao. There is no requirement that you have to care about a Spider-Man film.
Like bruh if you dont like the movies just don't watch them or talk about them lmao. No one is putting a gun to your head and forcing you to type on your keyboard about how you dont like the Spider-Man movies lol.
Maybe im just built different. I dont give nothing i dont like no type of attention or air time. Life is entirely too short to be b****ing
WB doesn’t love Superman and Batman the way Sony loves Spider-Man is what I’m gathering here
Sony is mandated to generate Spider-Man films every few years or else the "use it or lose it" clause reverts rights back to Marvel. They rely on Spider-Man as their huge IP, whereas WB has other IP they dedicate resources to. They can't lose this and can't afford to f*** it up which also is why they correct course so well (ex. quick pivot from ASM2 to MCU; stopping the villain films)
When Raimi couldn't do SM4 by 2011 we had ASM1 by 2012. Not because of the love of the game its cus they contractually had to.
You can (and should) still properly critique WB here but this is context that explains why we literally have to get Spidey films. There's also an underlying argument for why their licensing arrangement has been more successful than anyone else merely owning IP. No property is as consistent the last 24 years
we don't need this many spider man movies man
We don’t need any movie for that matter. But we get them anyways.
Just don’t watch a movie if you’re don’t wanna watch it? Lol. No need to complain everyone else is having fun with these movies
we don't need this many spider man movies man
He's arguably the most popular superhero in the world because he's marketable to virtually anybody.
One thing that also gets left out of this success is the fact SM has uniquely maintained roughly the same producers for 25 years now!! No one else has been this blessed.
Avi Arad, Amy Pascal, and Kevin Feige were all working on SM1, Feige worked as EP on SM2, and Pascal has been around as Sony head and producer the entire run. Other IPs have people come and go, good eras, bad eras, studio M&A, etc.. SM under Sony has had remarkable consistent players which contribute to its consistent success. Might not have been the case had anyone else had film rights

I agree but biggest opening weekend ever? Not even the NWH with all the previous Spidermen together did this
BND gonna outgross Avatar 2 at least
