La Flama BlancaHonestly, im splitting $2200 with a roommate right now and it hasnt been horrible. A little inconvenient but manageable. If you can move to Boston for $200 more than youre paying now, its a no brainer. I know im trolling a little but its an incredible city with a super unique culture and i love it to death

I’m working on finding a roommate through my sister’s friends and might end up being able to split a 3br for 3600 if things don’t fall through, which would be great. It’s not far from the T either which means I could sell my car (as long as I ever get it back from the f***ing body shop that still needs parts… classic supply chain)
F***ing sucks how few places allow dogs, too. But the pros outweigh the cons.
Some of the spots have pretty manageable rent, but beacon hill, back bay, north end etc are going to run you an arm and a leg
Southie, dorchester, brighton, and charlestown sometimes have cheap rent and are really fun neighborhoods
