Honest to god it’s depressing how bad rent is there, but I’d rather save up now and bite the bullet than keep paying $900 for a flat in a city with a below-zero amount of culture (Indianapolis)
Only reason I’m here is to take care of my grandmother and be near family and because living in Texas during a pandemic was hellish. I want to get to the northeast as soon as possible, although depending on how s*** goes the next few months I’m already preparing myself for having to re-sign here. God damn it I hate the pandemic so much

Yeah man, that’s going to be the move. I’m working on finding a roommate through my sister’s friends and might end up being able to split a 3br for 3600 if things don’t fall through, which would be great. It’s not far from the T either which means I could sell my car (as long as I ever get it back from the f***ing body shop that still needs parts… classic supply chain)
F***ing sucks how few places allow dogs, too. But the pros outweigh the cons.
