I’m def not playing the “they’re overachieving for their age” card but I do think them having so much playoff success right out the gates has caused people to heighten their expectations a lot more than other stars when in reality they tend to win their first around 27/28 like you said

Tatum had a turnover issue last year and I’d say he fixed about 45% of that issue so there was a major improvement

Maybe this will be the wake-up call

Feel like he got a pass with the turnovers last year because he showed up in the finals while Tatum stunk

At this point it’s the only true weakness in his game. Can’t imagine he doesn’t commit to improving handles

Barkley said it best last night. They tried to win this game on only talent. No discipline, no strategy no high percentage shots and no ball movement.

Not sure how fixable it is. If youve ever seen him practicing, his handles look insane. The problem is that he goes to the hoop purely with intentions to score. Everyone knows it. He’s not a great playmaker, so its easy to crowd him and make him uncomfortable.

Being a score first player is totally fine, but I think we’re utilizing him the wrong way a lot of the time. His main focus should be improving his movement without the ball. He has a pretty damn good post game also, and I’d love to see that more.

But at the end of the day, trying to blow by guys on the perimeter is clearly not working and its time for him to develop other areas of his game

But yeah aside from dribbling/handling pressure I think he just needs to slow the game down for himself. Plays too hectic and out of control at times. Feels like he has no plan with the rock too often

Needs to take what the defense gives him rather than trying to force s***. Also develop his post game more

This was probably the healthiest we've could of been for a playoff run and we couldn't get it done

Not sure how we improve externally either. This team doesn't have any glaring issues its been mostly all discipline related

Run it back with some tweaks to the coaching. They probably keep Joe at least one more year but they need to get some experienced assistants around him
