lmfao you do not determine what i did and what i didn't say. just because i can understand why a s***ty government has a hard time doing the right thing doesn't mean i affirm that position in any way. you're not going to bully me into some position i don't agree with. play that game with a dumber motherfucker.
i answered your question about whether reparations should be paid back 160 years later. if you would like me to rephrase, the answer is a resounding yes. your first question about reparations is exactly what i'm getting at though. holocaust reparations were paid directly to survivors and their children. i never saw my grandmother's reparations. that's why the US has such a hard time dealing with the idea of reparations now. because now they have to account for 160 extra years of the systemic effects of slavery. that's why reparations are much more difficult in their execution. not why they shouldn't be made.
So why didn't the US pay the reparations immediately after slavery ?
Because according to you , the only problem you named is basically technicality.

And I dont give a s*** about your feelings , if you justify something that means you're giving it an affirmative nod.
If I say that a girl was maybe raped because of they way she was dressed , I'm clearly saying that it was at least partly her fault she got raped.
You justified it. I didnt made you justify it. Dont throw stones and then go hiding. Dont try to be a slick white man.

not paying reparations after slavery is one of america's greatest failures... you seem to be missing what i was getting at in my original post.

NO I DONT MISS S***.
WHYYYYY ??????
WHY WAS IT NOT PAID ??
You said its because they have a hard time because of the time that's passed.
Since you're so sure of this fact. Tell me WHY wasn't it paid in the first place

why wasn't it paid in the first place? because the vast majority of public decision makers at the time were racists?

"don't try to be a slick white man" ahahahahah i'm outta here happy we had this constructive discourse.
I DON'T MISS S\*\*\*
I did not follow this conversation.
Here my two cents :
Black Americans can have a rough, xenophobic language that Africans are not used too. But Africans must understand that roasting and s*** talking is a big part of black American culture. But in Africa everything you say towards a person is taken very seriously and not being polite is already taken as a form of disrespect.
Of course there is also the possibility off you simply meeting a black American K00n or ignorant person.
And also let's not forget the actual real xenophobia in Africa in countries like South Africa chasing other Africans down the road to go back to their country.
On the flip side you have African immigrants that align themselves with the white power structure AGAINST black Americans.
They disrespect the very black Americans that build this country and allowed them to come to America.
this is fair. there is a big cultural disconnect. and yeah the discussion was getting at the wrong doings on both sides
another thing that one of the speakers brought up was how some black americans don’t make the effort in trying to trace back their roots. he said you can tell by looking at peoples facial features and get a general idea of their origins in africa
i’m haitian so i can’t speak on how black americans feel on that, but i do agree some people have very distinct features where you’d be able to study different african tribes and get a general idea of your origins. ofc it’s not definitive and wouldn’t work for everyone but i wanted to hear what other’s thought about it
I'm your superstar huh
If you wanna call one mention super star status. Then sure
But you know what I said was true
anyways yall i wanted to plug my playlist on the history of our radical tradition, the events that shaped it, and the people who progressed it. it contains speeches, interviews, documentaries, historical footage, audiotexts/books, video essays, and lectures. i tried my best to sort every video chronologically/thematically from the past millenium to the present-day. @Nightmares @Barcelona @localblaccmane @insertcoolnamehere @Soupvillain @AmoryBlain

I'll start working on this.
why wasn't it paid in the first place? because the vast majority of public decision makers at the time were racists?
Ok.
And since then were did that racism go ? Were these people somehow just magically racist to the point of killing and torturing people ? And then on day, all that racism just faded away ?
Where did all that racism go ?

Actually a lot of black Americans try to trace back their ancestry. There are multiple black American businesses that actually make money from this, so clearly there is great interest. There are videos all over the net of black Americans being moved to tears after finding out their ancestry. A lot of black Americans would kill just to be able to find out how exactly their ancestors got here.
But to be honest back in the day it was expensive to do this and there are a lot of scammers out there that will give you false evidence and simply lie to you.
And come on people, got other things to do. A lot of people cant even do their taxes correct people got other things to worry about.
Besides a lot of (west) Africans don't even like to associate with black Americans and black Americans are also aboriginal to the American continent, not just Africa. So a lot of them don't really feel like tracing their roots , and to be honest all of the kingdoms they were captured from are long gone. And of course you have some black Americans who are just ignorant.
As far as facial features, sure they are clearly there. But I must say you can clearly see the difference between a black American and a (especially) West Africans.
With countries in the middle of Africa like Congo or African Central Republic , the difference is much more difficult to see. Like Kid Cudi looks like a lot of Congolese I have seen.

It is man. I'm pretty sure you can say my username after you close your PC or browser.
All I can say is that , I wouldn't be able to say yours, or any names for that matter. Especially not someone I dont f*** with.
What that tell you ? You're my groupie, hoe.
Is Young Pharaoh an Industry Plant? Overall within black media, who are industry plants?
Is Young Pharaoh an Industry Plant? Overall within black media, who are industry plants?
I have a hard time believing "theyre" making plants for that type of industry. He's just a random youtube nigga
Why do I need to trace back my roots lol
Why do we need to do that?
you really don't. we should be stripping away layers and forms. being black is amazing but true knowledge of self is even better/more free
something about black love that is so powerful and beautiful. our struggle only another black woman can understand. off any other women from now on, going to get me a black queen :)
Reminder of that anyone of us can impact our city. You don't need to follow the conventions of this world, As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.

We need to talk about how fake pro black hotep goofs are influencing black folks to not take the vaccine.
