Bad enough I gotta work to make the white man money, but now I gotta look "presentable" and act a certain way so as not to come off as "intimidating" to the white people in the office too?
Yeah y'all can keep that, I'll stay remote lol

yeah, it's this white woman that sits next to me at work and she is always in our (white) boss office telling her how rude and disrespectful i am. and she complains about how i dress (wearing hats). thank god i only got three weeks left with these miserable crackers.
I really enjoy this interview. Just a timeless and much needed discussion between generations. I appreciate Judge Joe Brown for reasons that he's willing to speak on younger platforms and vice versa. We need to continue what our elders have built upon.

Nah it's more that you linked Critical Race Theory to some sort LGBTQ agenda to assimilate itself into Black culture or something (I got some news for you on that too potna) and that says you very clearly have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.
Maybe you're just better off actually reading it before speaking on it.
Thats Poignant’s gimmick since 2016 lol. Grown ass man still a homophobe lol.

King Mandume Ndemufayo (middle) of the Owukwanyama Tribe in Northern Namibia, 1916
Mandume was the last great King of Owukwanyama. He rebelled against colonial rule and brought about major political and social change in the Owukwanyama Kingdom. A year after this photo was taken, he would take his own life during his final battle against the South African Imperialists at the young age of 23. RIP My King.
With all the other weird ass secret sxns that need moderator approval in order to join I can't imagine us not being allowed to have our own sxn. We have a legitimate reason to have one as there are many kinds of discussion threads on KTT that really should only be discussed from the Black perspective that are unfortunately being critiqued and taken lightly whenever they're casually in Life and Music by non-Blacks.
Not even saying keep those people out of the sxn out of animosity, but mostly because I've seen so many of threads get derailed by racist s***posting and it just gets exhausting after awhile. I don't even bother getting too deep into those kinda discussions in life and politics because I just know the threads devolve into bullshit. Would much rather be able to have those conversations with other Black users male and female on KTT where we don't have to worry about bad outsider takes.
I keep asking S every few months but he constantly ignores me. I legit don't understand whats the problem, I've asked him countless times but you won't even give me a reason why not.

My guess is S doesn't want to create division on the forum. I get it but it's hard to fully agree with it because again...it's so many other weird ass sxns on KTT.
My rebuttal for the "It'll create division" take is simply the same reasons why LGBTQ+ wanted and have gotten their own private sxn are pretty much similar reasons why we want our own private sxn.
The LGBTQ+ sxn/thread started off being public, but then quickly went private when it began to get renegaded by homophobes/transphobes. Maybe S and them are just waiting to see if the Black Empowerment Thread ever gets raided before considering a private sxn?
happy birthday

Because the “black” sxn would be easier to infiltrate and pretend you’re black to get in, than it would to be lgbtq+ (and I wonder if its strictly lgtbq+ or are “allies” (i hate that word) allowed to join
either way it’s way harder to pretend i think.
And the whole “prove yourself you black” walks a fine line between posting yourself and risking getting doxxed. Dont think S wants that risk either.
Plus (and im bias) it’s a looooooooot of coon ass black niggas I do NOT wanna be in a private sxn with about black people

Op, Steph in there did say she had to pester the mods for it to happen. I just think its waaaaaaay less of them on this forum than it is of…black posters.
While we at it, here’s a shortened history of pre-colonial records of homosexual activities happening in Africa

And I strongly urge you all if you’re a fan of docs to watch “God Loves Uganda” where they talk about how Western missionaries and conservatives are the true source/funding and backing behind the anti-gay laws that come about in African countries.

Got the citizens so brainwashed to the point where some of the local preachers that were born and raised in Uganda had to get out, just cause it was unsafe for them to even preach in favor of queer people.
Happy pride for my lgbtqia+ niggas. Rest in peace Bayard Rustin. Rest in peace Marsha.
Ashe.

It's a difficult case to make because end of the day a lot of the mods will just say "Use the Black empowerment thread" as a catch all but I just feel like that's really limiting to discussions that can be had.
S*** we can have whole discussion threads about Black gardening, cooking, art, politics/politicians, skating, photography/videography, fashion, and hair. I know those last two exist in the fashion sxn but to me it's just always been weird seeing a thread titled "Black people hairstyles" in the fashion sxn even though I know that thread mostly consists of Black users
But that's just my point there are a lot of aspects to Blackness and culture across the diaspora that it seems unfair to jam all of that within this single thread.

I mean i agree.
I’d say at most, make a thread in help sxn and actually provide a plan with how this sxn would work. How do you accept new members or what would be the requirements. Cause there are still a lotta people on here that feel posting pics of themselves is wild invasive

Honestly most of us have a plan for how the sxn can work, it really the "How do users prove they are Black?" that makes it difficult
My only other idea I have is that when we have the private sxn we also have a "Post pictures of yourself" thread in there and that's how users can prove they are Black. But that can still seen as invasive, and any white user can just pull screenshot some other Black person's IG page and pretend to be Black.
And I have seen white users go to such pathetic lengths on KTT1 before
