With all the other weird ass secret sxns that need moderator approval in order to join I can't imagine us not being allowed to have our own sxn. We have a legitimate reason to have one as there are many kinds of discussion threads on KTT that really should only be discussed from the Black perspective that are unfortunately being critiqued and taken lightly whenever they're casually in Life and Music by non-Blacks.

Not even saying keep those people out of the sxn out of animosity, but mostly because I've seen so many of threads get derailed by racist s***posting and it just gets exhausting after awhile. I don't even bother getting too deep into those kinda discussions in life and politics because I just know the threads devolve into bullshit. Would much rather be able to have those conversations with other Black users male and female on KTT where we don't have to worry about bad outsider takes.

ok so im mixed and have had a racial indentity crisis my whole life
from hanging out with the white kids to hanging out with black kids to talking white and "acting black" i have finally come to the conclusion that i can have white friends and black friends
literally my family made it seem like i can only have friends of a certain race group

My assumption is that they don't wanna segregate the userbase by race, because then it'll only be a matter of time before more white users are on that "Well why can't we have our own private sxn!?" and that's when s*** just starts getting dumb as hell.

Another reason can simply be that there are more white and non-Black users on KTT than there are Black so they might feel that this Black Empowerment Thread is enough. It can be, if our space can be respected. Which unfortunately isn't the case all the time.
